Pinamungajan has new Chief of Police

The Pinamungajan Police Station is under new leadership.

Mayor Glenn Baricuatro welcomed PSINSP Rueben Verbo, who brings with him his expertise being one of the forces behind the implementation of the Philippine National Police's Performance Governance System.

“I will prove to our mayor that I have the knowledge and experience to maintain the peace and order of Pinamungajan,” said Verbo, 33.

Verbo assumed his post on June 4, 2014, wherein he was officially welcomed by Mayor Baricuatro and Councilors Lito Cerna and Julius Alpas and Barangay Captain Jessie Managaytay.

Deputy Provincial Director for Administration, Police Superintendent Renato Encarnacion Malazarte, also attended the turnover ceremony.

The outgoing Pinamungajan chief of police, PCINSP Roseller Paller, was grateful for his chance to have served the town for 10 months and thanked Baricuatro for throwing the local government's full support to the local police.

Paller is off to his new assignment in the City of Naga. He said that during his brief stint in Pinamungajan he had focused on intensifying police visibility especially on special occasions such as the annual town fiesta and the long holidays.

Mayor Baricuatro thanked Paller for doing good service and the friendship he extended to the Pinamungajanons. The local chief executive also challenges the new police chief to focus on curbing the drug problem in the municipality.
